Our Love
The Beginning
On July 11, 2022 we both were talked into going to a nightclub by friends called Niki’s Lounge. Neither one of us wanted to be there that night but we made the most of it. Standing at the bar watching a friend of a friend dance, doing pretty much the “cry baby” to the left of me stood Maurice. Quiet, shaking his head laughing at the same girl, he then pulls out his phone to record. “What you drinking on?” I laughed and replied “Patron.” he brought shots and we talked.
After a while of standing there talking like no one else was around I brought another round of shots. We exchanged numbers and parted ways. Months went by with just a text here and there because we were both very busy. Then Boom!!! we decided to link, having such a good time we wondered why we didn’t link sooner. We started dating in September and things moved very fast. Having fun with each other and our kids things seemed to be going good. We both had lots of things going on, from work to injuries to different loose ends needing to be tied. We called it quits in January 2023

God doesn't make mistakes we do..... When it's meant to be it Will Be!!!
September 2025 minding my own business having fun in Aruba for my birthday I mistakenly made a post on snapchat and Maurice responded. Confused to what was happening because I haven’t made a post on that app in years but I was so happy to hear from him since I’ve always thought of him. Text after text after text I couldn’t stop smiling waiting for his response after each text I had to call him. He answered and I felt like a kid in a candy store smiling from ear to ear.
We made plans to link for my birthday celebration when I came back but we couldn’t wait that long we hooked up the very next day after my return. From September 13th til now we haven’t left each other side. Picking up in a better place than where we left off more mature, all loose ends cut, tied, or burnt, better established, more focused and ready. Respecting my celibacy journey and my walk with God Maurice was already seeking God and a change of his own and I was more than willing to help. We knew this was where we wanted to be no looking back not caring about others opinion we chose happiness and each other.

Forever with my best friend is an answered prayer
April 28, 2026 Maurice planned a tequila and karaoke night because he knows I can’t sing but I love karaoke. Walking up to the stage wiping butter off my face and hand from the seafood boil I just ate I had no clue what was going on. Asking for a mic thinking we’re about to do a duet but Maurice had other plans like to see it here it goes………..
